Banks’ market value fell sharply in the last quarter.New Delhi, Apr. 15-Most public sector banks have seen their market value decline in the January-March quarter, according to a study by ‘S&P’.

It has been reported that 12 of the country’s top 20 banks have seen their market value decline in the March quarter compared to the December quarter.
Seven of the 12 banks whose market value has declined are public sector banks.
IndusInd Bank’s market value has fallen by the most by 32.30 percent.
Indian Bank, which has the highest overseas exposure among public sector banks, has seen its market value fall by 24.70 percent.
The market value of Central Bank of India has fallen by 19.80 percent.
Kotak Mahindra Bank has seen the highest growth in its market value.
HDFC Bank is at the top with a market value of Rs 13.99 lakh crore.
