The London-based Henley Passport Index ranks the world based on the number of countries a country’s passport allows its citizens to travel to without a visa.
Currently, Indian passport holders can travel to 59 countries without a visa or with the facility of obtaining a visa on arrival.
Indians can travel to countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Maldives, Thailand, Bhutan and Nepal without a visa.
Singapore continues to top the list of the most powerful passports in the world. Singapore passports can travel to 193 countries without a visa.
Passports from countries such as Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy and Spain can enter 189 countries without a visa.
This time, the United States, which was in the lead, has fallen to 10th place and the United Kingdom to 6th place.
