New Delhi: The value of machinery and spare parts exported from India to Germany increased fourfold to Rs 35,900 crore last year.

In 2023, Indian machinery and spare parts exports to Germany crossed Rs 8,700 crore for the first time. Last year, it increased more than four times to nearly Rs 35,900 crore. Its exports are expected to continue to register double-digit growth in the coming years.

Trade between the two countries is currently at Rs 2.73 lakh crore. Of this, 32 percent is in the machinery sector. Trade between India and Germany is on a good track with an annual growth of 8 to 10 percent. This growth is expected to continue in the coming years.
