New method of calculating retail price inflation,
Apart from the survey on tourism expenditure, the Ministry of Statistics is planning to conduct a survey on National Family Travel Expenditure in January.
In addition, a new series of the Retail Price Index is also planned to be released in February 2026.
In this, in addition to the usual consumer spending, it is planned to take into account the price of goods in online commerce, online games, mobile data, Bluetooth earphones, online video subscriptions and mobile phone accessories.
