What is the latest update GST on e-invoicing

New Delhi, March 19-The GST Network has introduced a new change in the rules related to ‘e-invoice’. According to this, from April 1, if companies do not upload the e-invoice within 30 days of receiving it, they will not be able to get the input tax benefit.

So far, this rule was applicable only to companies with a turnover of more than Rs 100 crore per year, but from April, it has been informed that companies with a turnover of more than Rs 10 crore will also have to follow this rule. Following this, small companies have also been forced to follow this.

If the upload is delayed, the invoice registration portal will not accept it;  will be rejected

As a result, companies purchasing goods will not be able to avail the input tax benefit

There will be problems in getting refunds

Sellers will be affected in paying tax.

New form introduced

The GST Network has also introduced a new form called GST – DRC 03A. It is reported that this form has been introduced on the GST portal to enable taxpayers to effectively handle tax-related queries
