‘LIC’ has moved up to the fifth position in the list of companies with the highest market capitalization in the country due to the continued increase in share price.
The company’s share price rose by 6.47 percent to Rs 1,112 on the National Stock Exchange yesterday. The company’s share price has increased by 33 percent so far this year.
LIC’s market capitalization rose by Rs 39,000 crore to Rs 6.99 lakh crore in a single day yesterday.
With this, ICICI Bank has overtaken LIC to the fifth position in the list of companies with the highest market value.
In this case, in the third quarter results of LIC published yesterday, it has been reported that the company’s net profit has increased by 49 percent to Rs 9,444 crore.
